This project was a one week long design task to reimagine the covering structure of the amphitheater at Worlds Fair Park in Knoxville Tennessee.

The key purpose was an exercise to use multiple software for the creation of a logical structure and something unique aesthetically. The structural pattern that comprises the the pavilion was based on the refraction of light through the reflecting pools next to the theater seating and that weave through the park itself.

All the structures supports were required to remain in the same location  as the existing cover which was converted from a tensile system  to a bulk active system. .
