Canal Street Station II was a redesign prompt for the Canal Street station and was focused on a thinning of heavy tectonic elements and an urban connection to nature and planning for water recycling for its live roof.

Taking inspiration from a tree, its branches, and canopy while still acting as a vital streetcar station and viewing instrument for Mardi Gras Celebrations, The notion of finding a balance between utility and beauty was kept in mind.
